Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission is to Inspire, Inform and Enable the Energy Transition by providing Individuals and Organisations with the knowledge required to navigate the rapidly evolving Energy Landscape. Our Vision is to provide a Transfer of Knowledge and Training Platform available and accessible on every Continent and therefore disseminating new knowledge and information to Inspire, Inform and Enable the Energy Transition. Coeus Energy supports diverse & inclusive teams, which are empowered to play a role within the Energy Transition.
Our Why
The Energy Transition represents an opportunity but also a significant period of change for the incumbent Operators, Supply Chain and the Workforce; as well as other stakeholders such as a Government, Finance, Public Services, Education and the General Public. The ability to obtain new knowledge, learn new skills, adapt to new environments safely & seamlessly, and adapt business models & strategies will be essential to navigate the rapidly evolving Energy Landscape.

Our Co-Founders
Our Co-Founders, all currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland but with global experience within the Energy Sector, are excited and committed to play a role in the challenge of the Energy Transition.

Shaun Minty
Training Director
Shaun has spent nearly twenty years working in the international energy industry. During this time, he has managed and delivered quality services to a range of business types from small independent training organisations to large multinational operators. In addition to this he has worked extensively with training organisations delivering emergency response, skills and safety training services.

James Hamilton
Managing Director
James has over 15 years of experience delivering skills and training solutions to the global energy industry. He has held director positions in both operational and training management roles, during which he led a number of high profile industry services such as the Oil & Gas Industry's Modern Apprenticeship scheme in the UK. Having worked extensively in the UK and internationally his understanding and abilities are supplemented with Masters Degrees from Aberdeen University and Aberdeen Business School.

Paul Pinkerton
Commercial & Strategy Director
Paul has been involved in global Project and Business delivery for over 15 years. Working on a number of international projects throughout his career Paul has led strategic staffing, statistical labour market analysis and resourcing delivery for major capital projects throughout Europe and Asia. During this time Paul has become acutely aware of the need for organisations and individuals to prepare for the challenges and opportunities that the Energy Transition will bring.

Bruce Wilson
Non-Executive Director
An experienced project manager and leader of engineering communities, Bruce has over 30 years in the energy industry. In his career with Shell International, he has developed challenging projects in culturally and geographically diverse locations from Europe to North America, Brazil to Kazakhstan and Norway to Oman; most recently as General Manager Asia-Pacific for Subsea Engineering based in Bangalore where he was also a focal point for Shell India’s energy transition strategy. Bruce is committed to achieving a net-zero economy, focused on renewable energy projects that foster energy independence, climate resilience and social equity.
